Blessed Coffee and Minew Shewa Entertainment are proud to produce the Second Annual Ethiopian Festival in Silver Spring MD, an upscale Ethiopian inspired event featuring educational, cultural and contemporary components.
The festival aims to promote the economic engagement and cultural expression of the Ethiopian-American community. The event also serves to link Ethiopian-American businesses, artists, community leaders, and residents with policy makers, news media, and other private-sector organizations in the metropolitan Washington, D.C. region. By building these cultural and economic bridges, the festival strives to foster broader understanding and economic and cultural ties between the United States and Ethiopia. This year’s festival will honor Mr. Tadesse Meskela, founder and manager of the Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union (OCFCU).
