Mr. Comey who served as the seventh Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and was appointed by President Barack Obama will deliver the 150th Opening Convocation address on Friday, September 22, at 11 a.m. in Cramton Auditorium.
Comey is an attorney with a breadth of experience in private practice and the federal government. During his tenure at the FBI, Mr. Comey supported several programs across the organization that focused on diversity initiatives.
On the occasion of Opening Convocation at Howard University, especial attention is called to the 150th anniversary of the granting of our Charter by the Congress of the United States on March 2, 1867, with emphasis on Howard University’s relation to local, national and global communities. “I am pleased to welcome Mr. Comey to Howard,” said Howard University President Wayne A.I.
