Celebrate Black Music Month with WHUT

Get ready to hang out with the legends behind your favorite tracks and vibe with the Kings of Music crew.

This June, WHUT invites the community to celebrate Black Music Month with an unforgettable evening of music, connection, and cultural legacy at the Kings of Music Meet & Greet. The special event brings music lovers together for an up-close experience with legendary vocalists Gerald Alston and Russell Thompkins, Jr., honoring the timeless sounds that continue to shape generations.

Hosted as part of WHUT’s Black Music Month programming, this intimate gathering is more than a meet & greet—it’s a celebration of Black musical excellence and the community that continues to uplift it.
