In partnership with THEARC and Building Bridges, the Howard University Department of Psychiatry invites the community to "Muses of the Mind," its annual mental health awareness affair honoring Bebe Moore Campbell Minority Mental Health Awareness Month.
This free, immersive event will take place on Saturday, July 25, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the THEARC Black Box Theatre in Southeast Washington, DC, centering community voices while fostering dialogue, healing, connection, and mental health equity through art, live performance, and personal storytelling.
The Department is also seeking artists, volunteers, vendors, and community organizations to help create this dynamic experience; interested participants can sign up here.
