On September 19th, 2026, Howard University Television celebrated our 45th Anniversary as the Nonprofit of the Match where D.C. United took on Charlotte FC at Audi Field!

Attendees had the opportunity to meet the WHUT team, snap photos with a PBS KIDS character, Daniel the Tiger, enjoy prize giveaways, and help us celebrate 45 years of WHUT and public media.
