Dr. Lonise Bais
Twenty-eight years after his death, Len Bias is being inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame at the University of Maryland. His mother, Dr. Lonise Bias, will join Rock Newman to discuss her son’s life and legacy. When Bias died in 1986 of a cocaine overdose, he had become the universities all-time leading scorer with 2,147 points and had been drafted by the Boston Celtics. He was also one of the most popular up-and-coming sports start in the DMV and the nation.
